A military plane landed for the first time on the carrier Liaoning, the first Chinese army plane, went into operation two months ago, the official Xinhua agency quoted.
Landing maneuvers marked the debut of production the Chinese fighter J-15, a machine model derived from the Russian Sukhoi-33.
The exercises were concluded successfully. According to Xinhua, J-15 can carry anti-ship missiles, air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles and precision.
Liaoning aircraft carrier from entering into service on September 25 crew members attended over 100 training courses and exercises.
The ship, which symbolizes China’s hegemonic ambitions in the Western Pacific, was acquired in 1998 from Ukraine and has been refurbished over more than a decade.
